Θραύση κάνει στη Μεγάλη Βρετανία το τραγούδι «Liar liar GE2017» (ψεύτρα ψεύτρα γενικές εκλογές 2017) κατά της Τερέζα Μέι.Το τραγούδι από το συγκρότημα Captain SKA χλευάζει το σύνθημά της περί «ισχύος και σταθερότητας» ενόψει των βουλευτικών εκλογών της 8ης Ιουνίου ενώ κατηγορεί τις πολιτικές λιτότητας, που εφάρμοσε το Συντηρητικό Κόμμα της Βρετανίας.
Το τραγούδι περιέχει σειρά αποσπασμάτων από ομιλίες της Μέι ενώ το ρεφρέν λέει «είναι ψεύτρα, ψεύτρα, όχι, δεν μπορείς να την εμπιστευτείς».
«Όλοι μας ξέρουμε ότι στους πολιτικούς αρέσει να λένε ψέματα/Μεγάλα, μικρά, ψέματα/Το να λένε ότι είναι ισχυροί και σταθεροί, δεν παραπλανούν/Συνεχίζουν να μας εξαπατούν» λέει στη συνέχεια.
«Η επιτυχία του τραγουδιού δείχνει ότι οι πολίτες κουράστηκαν με αυτήν την κυβέρνηση των πλούσιων, για τους πλούσιους» επισημαίνεται σε μια ανακοίνωση που εκδόθηκε από την Official UK Charts Company.
