Purcell's most important collection of keyboard music appeared posthumously in 1696, and contains his eight suites for keyboard. In 1720 Handel published his Suites de pièces, a representative corpus of a genre composed between Hamburg and London. The performance of this harpsichord repertoire on the piano offers a new insight into the greatness of this music. This concert was held during the period of severe restrictions on audiences in concert halls by COVID 19.
