The Dark Room

theres a place i like to go when im sad
a place of loneliness but joy
for i have one love
the sounds of a piano
i hear it in my head but my fingers arnt trained to play it
so i sit for hours on end thinkng of the songs i havent written
knowing so if i had id be better than Motsart
but im not trained so it will never be
so i am me
sitting in my cold dark room
dreaming of the songs to be
poor old me.
