Οι φίλοι της μουσικής γιορτάζουν σήμερα τα 147 χρόνια
από τη γέννηση του αυστριακού συνθέτη Γουσταύου Μάλερ
κι εμείς απολαμβάνουμε ένα από τα δημοφιλέστερα τραγούδια του.
Ο Gustav Mahler υπήρξε ο σπουδαιότερος συνθέτης της
μεταρομαντικής εποχής στη μετάβασή της προς το μοντέρνο,
διακρίθηκε επίσης ως στιβαρός αρχιμουσικός και διυθυντής όπερας.
Στη διεύθυνση της ο ορχήστρας που συνοδεύει το βαρύτονο Thomas Hampson
